Joan Ellis

CUIC Registrar & Senior Manager

Joan Ellis is a Senior Manager with CUSOURCE Credit Union Knowledge Network and Registrar for the Credit Union Institute of Canada (CUIC).

During her 13 years with a community-based credit union in Ottawa, Joan held a variety of positions and drew on that experience in course and curriculum development when she joined the Credit Union Institute of Canada in 1992. There, along with course development, her responsibilities included communications and business development. She kept some of these responsibilities with the transition of CUIC to CUSOURCE Knowledge Network.

Joan has her B.A. and B. Ed. from Queen’s University. With CUSOURCE Knowledge Network, Joan is actively involved in national communications and with both the CUIC and Credit Union Director Achievement (CUDA) courses and programs.
